James Ibori’s Daughter Wins PDP Ticket

Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, the daughter of former Delta State Governor, James Ibori has emerged as winner the of the Peoples Democratic Party’s ticket for the Ethiope East Federal Constituency.

Erhiatake polled 46 votes ahead of the incumbent, Ben Igbakpa who scored 22 votes.

The two aspirants had scored 34 votes each to tie the contest during Monday’s PDP primary exercise.

Hon Erhiatake currently serves as the lawmaker representing Ethiope West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.
