2020 Prince GAS Cup draw holds on Sunday

Teams taking part in this year’s edition of the Prince GAS Cup will get to know their groups as the draws of the grassroot football tournament will hold on Sunday, 9th November.

Over 96 male teams in the U-15 and Age-Free category are expected to take part in the tourney which is billed to kick off on November 13 in four centres in Lagos State.

Four suburbs in the Lagos metropolis, Igando, Mushin, Ejigbo and Aboru centres would host the matches.

Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), Prince Gbadamosi Adebola Sulaimon informed that: “Finally we are making headway as the draws for this year’s edition will hold on Sunday in Igando.

“I also want to use this medium to inform coaches and managers of the U-15 teams that as the organisers want to curb age cheats, the screening exercise will end on Sunday.”

Sulaimon urged all participating teams to adhere to the rules of the competition, while also observing the COVID-19 protocols, as teams found to go against the rules will be disqualified.

The competition will be supported by Elder David Akere, the Grand Patron Chief Iyk Madu Obi, Germany-based Yomi Oyadeyi and Raheem Ganiu of ROLAG investment, while Mr Fruts is official beverage of the tournament.
