Following Enugu Rangers resounding away win in Uyo, her former Team Manager Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, has redeemed his promise of Two hundred thousand Naira for a win against Akwa United in Uyo.

Shortly before the team departed Coal City, the Title Winning Former TM of Rangers charged the Flying Antelopes to win the Promise Keepers in Uyo and if they do, he will support their efforts with #200,000.

And so it happened, goals from Sam Pam, Chidiebere Nwobodo and Shedrack Asiegbu helped the Gburugburu boys to a resounding away victory in Uyo. Few minutes after the match, Barrister Amobi reached out to the team’s captain Tope Olusesi to redeem his pledge. Promise kept.

The respected administrator says he is Rangers through and through
“Before the game I promised the boys to win in Uyo and get 200k from me. And I’m happy they did. In my little way, I will keep supporting the team the much I can. This is a huge victory which will aid the team season’s ambition”

Enugu Rangers leapfrogs Remo Stars to 3rd position after her third away win of the season and will look to consolidate on this away victory with a home win this weekend to round off a good first stanza of the 2021/2022 season for the Flying Antelopes.
