Commonwealth Games: 19-year-old Wins Medal for Team Nigeria

Another medal for Team Nigeria as weightlifter Yusuf Islamiyat Adebukola a 19 year old won in the women’s 64kg category by lifting 93kg in the Snatch and Clean and Jerk: 113kg, 116kg, 119kg with total result of 212kg

Nigeria has won 2 Gold, 2 Bronze in the ongoing Commonwealth Games.

Monday’s bronze medal is the fourth medal for Nigeria in the weightlifting event where the country had earlier won two gold and another bronze medal.

All Nigeria’s medals so far have come from weightlifting.
